Mer info:
Layali is a new bi-monthly night at Bergen Kjøtt, created by Mohanad Abdullah and Knut Jonas Sellevold, with the aim of creating a platform in Bergen for the sounds and music of SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa). Bringing together music from across genres and decades, Layali celebrates the region’s rich and diverse musical cultures, with Mohanad and Knut on the decks alongside guest DJs and artists on selected nights.

From dabke, choubi and raï to hip hop, electro shaabi and vintage and contemporary popular music from across the region, Layali is a space for discovery, connection, and dancing.
