Juan Duarte is a sound artist based in Helsinki whose live sets unfold like a slow ritual. Deep, sustained drones and layered soundscapes build gradually from field recordings, modular synthesis, and live processing, treating sound as something alive: a presence to be summoned and listened to, not simply played. Live visuals accompany the music, with slow-shifting projections of light, smoke, and shadow that respond to the sound and fill the room like a second atmosphere. The result is immersive and physical, a space for deep listening where hidden things seem to speak and time moves at a different pace.
Magnus A. H. Olsen (b. 1993, Bodø/Bådåddjo) is a Bergen-based artist whose practice is dedicated to interpolating points between zeroes and ones. Working with synthetic sound, scripting, performance and installation, they render virtual materialities and speculative landscapes which highlight the rhizomatic, interconnected nature of systems and quantum properties of matter.
At Kjøtt, Magnus will perform a live version of a synthetic opera under development, titled "Dord". The piece, comprised entirely of synthesised sound, follows a singular databit falling out of a glitching cloud server, and into the cycle of water.
